Education:
In 2002, Maria Kravtsova graduated from the Faculty of Art History of the Russian State University for the Humanities. In 2008, she participated in the Art plastique educational program at La maison des cultures du monde (Paris). In 2010, she completed an internship at the MAC/VAL Museum (Paris, Vitry-sur-Seine).

Overview of world museums, galleries and art events; cultural policy in the field of art; management in the art industry; the structure of the modern art system
Other information:
From 2002 to 2009, she was an employee of the Arthronika magazine. In 2003, she was a columnist for the culture department of the Stolichnaya Vechernaya Gazeta, and in 2004–2006, she was a columnist for the magazine Vsio Yasno. In 2010–2011, she was the editor of the Art department of L'Officiel magazine.
Since 2011 — Editor-in-Chief of the website artguide.com. Since 2012, — Editor-in-Chief of the Russian version of GARAGE Magazine.
The author of numerous publications in the publications Kommersant, Izvestia, Moskovskie Novosti, Arthronika, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, ART+AUCTION (Russia), SNC, Artpress (France), ARTnews (USA) and on the portal OpenSpace.ru .

Teaching activity:
Since 2017, she has been a lecturer of the Bachelor's degree program in Art History at the Faculty of Humanities of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. Compiler and lecturer of the course “Contemporary Art of Russia. 1932–2010”.
