- Research and teaching at the University of Bergamo and at the University of Milan.
- Coordinated the project www.arterussamilano.it based on the archives of the City of Milan, the Mondadori Publishing Foundation, the Archive of G. D'Annunzio (Vittoriale) and the La Scala Theater (2009–2012).
- Coordinated the PRIN national research projects on the Russian presence in Italy (www.russinitalia.it) (2007–2011).
- Member of the Italian Association of Slavists (AIS);
- Member of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES);
